For Dr. Seuss Day, March 2nd, let's prompt children leveraging the use of AI!
Teaching at a creativity and excellence institute, I was told: 'No more coloring pages. Give them open-ended prompts.' I loved transdisciplinary prompts weaving art, nature, science and environment. To celebrate the birthday of my greatest inspiration, Dr. Seuss, let's Ignite children's curiosity with fresh energizing verse and art that celebrates imagination .Then prompt students to learn about the ideas they drew on. We will gain insight into their inner world, provide social emotional tips, and build self-efficacy. Children and youth can always leverage their ideas by AI, yet the ideas will still be theirs to take pride in.

For Darwin Day Feb 12, Play is an evolutionary advantage for solving world problems
It is known that creative problem-solving is an evolutionary trait, our ancestors needed for survival. New research shows how play complements that: Expanding the range of solutions available & experiencing with new methods. As true as it is for animals and children, it is for adults. Learn more about the idea of play as a survival mechanism, celebrating Darwin Day, Feb 12, 2024. Survival is about who is more creative and caring. Unfortunately, play is natural in kindergarten. In schools children are told: Learning is serious. We need play to raise today's Gen Z students toward solving world problems.
